Dark shadows, sleepy alleyways, desolate seascapes, bright city lights, people chatting on the bus, kids on their phones, commuters waiting at King’s Cross station… all of these have inspired me in the last year…
and then we get on the materials… hmmm… oil paints, charcoal, gesso, all types of fibre and fabric, plastic… so much inspiration and so little time…
I live in Woking, Surrey, with husband Jonathan, several children and two cats. Would rather live by the sea.

Bio:
I completed a Foundation Course in Art at Maidstone College of Art – 1981… Then went to Buckinghamshire College of FE to do 3D Design… should have done Fine Art… left before completing degree..
Self taught thereafter in fine art, painting and textile art.
Currently teach Art and Textiles at Bishop David Brown School in Woking.
