Rather excitingly, I am once again designing dresses. This time cocktail costumes for the Mosaic Chamber Choir. I’ve chosen colours of jewels – purple, blues, emeralds, turquoise, burgundy…. all very beautiful… Pictures to follow.

I am really getting into my new Janome machine… last night I made a tea cosy. (Ok, so maybe great artists are above tea cosies, but hey, if you like old fashioned tea made in a pot then they’re essential). It’s made from an old dress… I wore it about 100 years ago with purple tights and Doc Marten Boots… happy days…. anyway, I have always loved the fabric, so have recycled it as a bag… and a tea cosy….
