I am forever thankful that I am a teacher and that I have ridiculously long holidays! I have the luxury of time.. and suddenly all the s*** is worth it!
This summer I will be making bags, painting landscapes and finishing the church banner… I’ll also be completing my C&G Embroidered Textiles course… so, busy bee me. I’ll be posting lots of pictures.. so watch this space.
I’ve had my lovely Janome sewing machine for 8 months now, and I love it! There are still things I haven’t tried yet, so this summer holiday will be spent learning and sewing… I have made a little bag for my friend Sarah, who is leaving the school next week and off to Windsor to teach… I’ll miss her enormously..
I’ve used a selection of green and purple printed cotton, with a raspberry silk lining…
